Bridge Crane Stability and Trolley Line Innovation

When the overhead crane is in operation, stability is very important for every type of machinery. The bridge crane is one of them. Under such work, if the huge machinery does not have stable performance during the operation, it is equivalent to working on the edge of danger. Therefore, to carry out safe work, the stability of the crane must be sufficient.

It is understood that the stability of the bridge crane has a certain relationship with the bottom plate of the crane. The baseplate is star-shaped and is made of cast iron in smaller cranes and of zone or I-shaped iron in larger cranes. At the beginning of the design, it was drawn by feeling, and then its strength was checked. The part where the pillar is inserted into the bottom plate is usually tapered, and the center of the star-shaped bottom plate is very strong. The pillar inserted into the hole is affected by the force couple. Because the moment arm of the force couple is small, the force is quite large, so the gap between the pillar and the center hole There must be a sufficiently large contact surface. An important point is that crane stability determines the size of the foundation, not only on the basis of stability but also on the nature of the soil, since the permissible surface pressure of the soil is always low.

Therefore, stability is not only limited to the bottom plate of the crane but also has a certain relationship with the geographical location during work. It is important to do a stable job before the crane can operate, and it is also the top priority of the bridge crane.

Firstly, what needs to be done is that the upper and lower centers of the bottom plate must be connected with enough rivets and iron arms. When the iron arm is I-shaped, the anchor screw holes are cut with an oxyacetylene flame. Recently, the bottom plate is no longer riveted but welded, so it is much cheaper to manufacture. Therefore, it is a very good idea to use welding to fix the bottom plate.

Secondly, if the bottom plate is made of cast iron, the section is T-shaped or I-shaped. The iron arm is bent due to the force of the anchor screw. According to the distribution of the bending moment, the cross-sectional area of the iron arm is from the center to the anchor. The screw gradually shrinks. If the iron arms of the bottom plate are made of rolled steel, the cross-section is symmetrical.

Finally, before the installation of the crane, professionals must do a good job of inspecting of the ground soil. If the soil is loose, the bridge crane should not be installed here. Because, after installation, when the bridge crane is lifting heavy objects, it is impossible to lift it if it is not stable, or it is wobbly when lifting, which is so dangerous, so the detection of ground soil is also the key point.

According to our knowledge, we know that the trolley line of the bridge crane in the general factory workshop is a three-phase AC 380 V voltage, and three-angle steels are used as fixed conductive parts. There are safety indicator lights installed at both ends of the line. The innovation of the process of connecting the sliding lines of the crane is for safety considerations. The sliding contact line is also called the safety sliding contact line. The safety sliding contact line is used to supply power to the moving equipment. It consists of two parts, the sliding line guide rail (the fixed part is connected to the power supply, and the normal guide rail is connected by a single length of 4 m/piece or 6 m/piece). Contact lines, multi-stage tubular safety sliding contact lines, seamless safety sliding contact lines, cable safety sliding contact lines, and more crane sliding contact lines have greatly improved in protection level and insulation and are safe and reliable.

The sliding contact line can be used in dusty, humid, and other environments. However, it can be seen that the performance of an accessory is high. However, the problems that should be paid attention to when using it must not be short-circuited or wrongly connected. So as not to cause a short circuit and burn out the collector and even the trolley line. Check the collector carbon brushes frequently and replace them. Usually, observe whether the trolley wire conduit is damaged or deformed and replace it in time to avoid leakage. For crane trolley lines that have been used for a long time, a large amount of dust will accumulate in the internal conduit, which must be cleaned regularly. It is recommended to use a blower to clean it, and it is strictly forbidden to wipe it with water.

Although the quality of today's crane trolley lines is improving day by day, product quality has taken a big step forward, and every mechanical equipment and cable has its service life, but a good crane trolley line can be achieved through good usage habits and use. The maintenance in the process prolongs its service life, thereby saving the production cost of the enterprise.
