International Standards Certification Organization (ISO)

A worldwide federation of international standardization bodies (ISO member bodies). "ISO9000" does not refer to a standard, but a collective term for a family of standards. It was developed by ISO in 1987 and has been continuously revised and improved into a series of standards, which are common requirements or guidelines for quality management systems. It is not subject to specific industry or economic sectors and can be applied to organizations of all types and sizes to promote mutual understanding in domestic and international trade.


Since 1993, members of the European Community have to implement the quality system unified certification procedure according to ENZ9000~ENZ9004, which is mainly based on the three quality assurance model standards in the ISO9000 family standard. Commodities from non-EC member countries must also comply with these regulations in order to enter the European market.


At present, the ISO9000 family standard has been converted into national standards by more than 90 countries and regions. When introducing international standards into national standards, the conversion methods are divided into two types: identical adoption and equivalent adoption. China introduces the equivalent method. After the introduction, the correct writing method is ISO9001:2008 Idt GB/T19001-2008, where Idt means "identical adoption”and GB/T means "national recommendation standard".

Products in the catalogue include household appliances, automobiles, safety glass, medical equipment, wires and cables, toys, etc., all of which must be certified by a nationally designated certification authority, and only after obtaining relevant certificates and applying certification marks, can be shipped , import, sale and use in business services.

It is one of the most widely used and authoritative third-party certifications in the world. German TüV certification is a safety certification standard for component products. The purpose is to prevent personal injury and property damage caused by various dangers during the use of home appliances, machinery, automobiles and other products. The whole process is completed by the neutral organization. .

It is an independent, non-profit, professional organization that tests for public safety. It uses scientific testing methods to determine the extent to which various materials, devices, products, facilities, buildings, etc. are hazardous or harmful to life and property; to determine, prepare, and issue appropriate standards and to help reduce and prevent life. The property is subject to loss of information, and at the same time, the fact-finding business is carried out. In short, it is mainly engaged in the safety certification of the defective products and the operation safety certification business. The ultimate goal is to obtain a product with a fairly safe level for the market and contribute to the guarantee of personal health and property safety. Regarding product safety certification as an effective means of eliminating technical barriers to international trade, UL plays an active role in promoting the development of international trade.

Products bearing the CE mark can be sold in European member states without meeting the requirements of each member state, thus realizing the free circulation of goods within the EU member states. In the EU market, the CE mark is a compulsory certification mark. Whether it is a product produced by a European company or a product produced in another country, in order to be freely circulated in the EU market, the CE mark must be affixed to indicate that the product complies with the EU. RoHS Directive
