Single girder overhead cranes and double girder overhead cranes are composed of four parts: main girder, lifting mechanism, end girder, and electrical. One, the different structure

The obvious difference between single girder overhead cranes and double girder overhead cranes are that the main girder structure is different. At the same time, the single girder crane has the advantages of light weight, easy installation, and easy disassembly due to its concise and clear structure, while the double girder crane is just the opposite. Not only the structure is relatively complicated, but also the installation process is relatively cumbersome.


Two, different production costs

In view of the different forms of the main girder, when other specifications are the same, the material used for single girder overhead cranes is much less than that of double girder overhead cranes, and its cost is naturally not very high. The sales price is relatively more close to the people. However, the double girder crane is different. The main double girder design is relatively complicated, so the consumption of time, manpower, and materials are more than that of the single girder crane, and the market price is relatively high.

Three, different mechanical properties

In terms of mechanical performance, the single girder overhead crane has a weaker overall performance due to its small load capacity and is suitable for occasional use in the short term; while the comprehensive performance of the double girder overhead crane is relatively stronger, not only the load-bearing capacity but also durable.

In the actual sales process, since the cost of a single girder overhead crane is more advantageous than the cost of a double girder overhead crane, customers are more inclined to choose single girder overhead cranes from the perspective of cost alone. 1. Quality: Most customers don't understand cranes, but they can't see the quality. Some people may have a little understanding of motors and steel, but the transmission and electrical components of the crane are not clear. This is also the core part of the crane. The transmission part includes an electric hoist, brake, reducer, etc. When we cannot distinguish the quality, we can hear the sound. Generally, good-quality drives have less sound. Regarding the electrical system, products produced by regular manufacturers should be selected.

2. Word-of-mouth, before purchasing a crane, you can learn about the manufacturers word-of-mouth through online channels or introductions by friends.

3. Details: the quality is good or bad, we can also start with the details to understand, such as uniform welding, whether there is leakage welding, and how to deal with the appearance? What is the material of the take-up frame on the side of the main beam? Is it to pull the wire rope or to weld the angle steel? These can be judged from the details of the overall quality. 

4. Price: Everyone wants a cheaper price. If we have a clear configuration and quality of equipment, then, of course, we will choose cheaper for the same grade.


Many customers tend to ignore maintenance after installing the overhead crane. The machine is just like the human body, and they will have problems if they are used for a long time. So the necessary maintenance is indispensable. You can compare the maintenance to daily maintenance, which can extend the service life and ensure the use effect.

Inspection: It mainly refers to the inspection of the wear of equipment parts, tightening tightness, safety devices, etc. in the process of daily idle and use. If the problem is found, it must be dealt with promptly. If you cant deal with it, you need to make a sign to tell other staff that you should stop the machine for rectification, and report to the superior leader in time to wait for the maintenance staff to deal with it before they can return to work.

Lubrication: overhead cranes are also made of some steel and other raw materials, so wear and tear between parts will occur during use, so mankind invented lubricants that can effectively reduce the wear of equipment. Equipment lubrication is also a science, maintenance personnel must strictly follow the standards to make the equipment lubricated in place to achieve good results.

Clean: It means that the overhead crane is operating in harsh environments for a long time, and external dust and impurities will inevitably fall into the inside of the equipment. However, some internal parts will fall into the equipment due to seal loss, etc. Cause unpredictable serious consequences. At the same time, if the surface of the heat dissipation system of the equipment is covered with more impurities, dust, and other substances, it will cause failures such as failure of the heat dissipation system. Moreover, cleaning the equipment can effectively prevent the surface of the equipment from being seriously corroded by some acids and alkalis.
