Structure of Steel Billet Clamp
The steel billet clamp mainly consists of seven parts: suspension beam, connecting rod, Open-and-Closed Mechanism, synchronizer, clamp arm, supporting plate and clamp teeth.

The suspension beam is a part connected with the crane hook. It has three kinds of structures: the lifting ring unloading connection, the sling connection and the lifting lug connection. The lifting ring unloading type connecting lifting shaft improves the force condition of the lifting device, avoids the decoupling phenomenon during loading and unloading billets, reduces the height of the fixture itself, and is conducive to the use of low places. The suspension shafts are connected by slings, so that the force of fixture is better, but the height of the suspension itself is large, so it needs to be used in large places, and the auxiliary hooks need to be manually used when the hooks are hanged. The crane driver can directly hook the lug-type connecting crane axle, but it is necessary to land the crane and lower the hook until the force is not applied during the lifting operation, which easily leads to the decoupling of the crane hook.
Connecting rod is the connecting part of suspension beam and clamp arm.
Opening and closing mechanism has manual lifting rod type, (automatic) double hook type, (automatic) single hook type, (automatic) rotary lock type and other forms. The automatic opening and closing mechanism is the mechanism to realize the automatic opening and closing of the slab fixture. Its action does not need any external power source, and the automatic opening and closing of the fixture is realized by the gravity of the fixture itself. Oiling and lubrication of starting and closing mechanism: Lubricating oil (or oil) must be added regularly (2-3 days), and then up and down several times until the lubrication is complete. Excessive grease lubrication is strictly prohibited!
Synchronizer is a device to ensure synchronous movement of clamp arms.
The clamp arm is the main force-increasing part of the clamp, through which the billet is clamped up.
The supporting plate is the supporting part of the slab fixture. The supporting plate is supported on the upper surface of the billet to ensure the smooth operation of the opening and closing mechanism of the billet fixture.
The clamp teeth have pin-shaft connection type, swallow-tail connection type and slotted connection type. The clamp teeth are the main parts in direct contact with the billet, which determines the reliability of the clamp for the billet.
